Mental Health Framework

Through the adoption of this Framework, people with mental health problems will be enabled to: 1. Access mental health care where and when they need it, and be able to move through the system easily, so that people who need intensive input receive it in the appropriate place, rather than face being discharged to no support 2.
A Framework for Support is CMHA’s central policy regarding people with mental illness. This third edition retained the integrity of the model and is now positioned within the current context of population health, health promotion, and recovery.
The framework leverages Alberta’s existing investments made in training and professional development. It summarizes core knowledge, behavioural and activating competencies identified as essential for professionals across sectors to support and promote mental health.

Mental Health And Adaptation Diagram

The structure of a mental model diagram Mental model diagrams are artefacts that are built around a framework that follows certain rules and processes. Commonly, we break down the structure of a mental model diagram into 2 parts: A problem space — Which is represented in the top section of a mental model diagram.
We abstracted characteristics of the original and adapted populations and settings, reasons for adaptation, types of modifications, use of an adaptation framework, adaptation steps, and evaluation outcomes. Forty-two distinct EBIs were found focusing on HIV/AIDS, mental health, substance abuse, and chronic illnesses.
For example, we use colour coding to rate how well we believe a solution is working to support a specific need. Fig. 1 — The structure of a mental model diagram. The top section is how people reason and feel through a domain of interest — i.e., the problem space.
